This year, 2024, Reimer Home Services donated three furnaces to cancer survivors and thrivers. Each location in Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo offered one free furnace, which means a grand total of three furnaces were gifted to families in our communities!
Reimer’s Albany location furnace winner, Mollie M., is a 48- year-old loving and dedicated mother. She supports her own child at home, and at work as an attorney for children in family court where she continues to support others. Mollie continues to give to those around her all day long, even throughout her journey with cancer. She was diagnosed at 36 with invasive ductal carcinoma which heavily affected her life. We are thankful she has been willing to share her heroic journey and that we have been able to support her.
When we installed her brand-new furnace, our technicians found that her previous furnace was cracked and omitted harmful fumes into her home. We were able to help Mollie and her daughter now and prevent them from further injury in the future.
