In the coming weeks, Western New Yorkers will begin to see elements of the refreshed Reimer brand in the form of newly wrapped trucks, revised digital presence live at callreimer.com and billboards throughout Erie County featuring the new, easy-to-remember vanity phone number: 716-899-HORN.
Arriving at the rhino as the new Reimer mascot was a result of thorough company- and community-wide surveying as leadership looked to identify a character to serve as the friendly, memorable face of the brand moving forward. The rhino represents the rare, highly sought-after services Reimer offers. Rhinos are resilient, brave, and highly attentive—able to brave the elements and communicate clearly with companions.
When asked what this brand refresh represents for Reimer today and the future plans of the company, Presi-dent Brandon Bieron explained, “You’ve probably heard us referring to this exciting new journey we’re on as a brand refresh, or brand evolution, but never rebranding. This is simply because we are not rebranding Reimer, we’re evolving our image and messaging while keeping core values intact and paying homage to the past 100 years of Reimer heritage. For instance, the new look assumes the Reimer-orange, with subtle nods to the previous triangular logo. And just like our new mascot’s horn, Reimer never stops growing—and we can’t wait for everyone to see and experience it in full as we make the next 100 years even more memorable than the last hundred.”
Founded in 1921, by Richard M. Reimer, the company set out with a singular, straightforward goal—provide the people of Buffalo and Western New York with the very best and friendliest home services possible. Today, homeowners know Reimer for its dedication to quality, industry knowledge, and reliable heating and cooling, plumbing, and electric services, available day or night, we’re there in Rhino time.
