The Reimer Home Services Furnace Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is intended for legal residents who own homes within the Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany service areas of Reimer Home Services and shall only be construed and evaluated according to applicable USA law and New York state laws. Do not enter this Giveaway if you do not have residence in the designated service area or are otherwise ineligible to enter in accordance with these Official Rules. The Giveaway is sponsored by Reimer Home Services (the “Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY: The Giveaway is open to legal residents who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and own a home within the Reimer Home Services service area. Non-eligibility or non-compliance with any of these Official Rules will result in disqualification at Sponsor’s sole discretion. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway. Participants also agree that their first name, last initial, and city of residence may be published for promotional purposes if they are selected as a winner. Additionally, any photos videos collected during the furnace installation may be used by the Sponsor for internal and promotional purposes. Winning the Grand Prize (as defined below) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
HOW TO ENTER: The Giveaway begins October 1, 2025, and ends on October 31, 2025 (“Giveaway Period”).
Via Online Entry: Entrants can enter the Giveaway by completing the online entry form with their full name, address, phone number, and email address. By completing the Giveaway entry form, an entrant will receive one (1) Giveaway entry. There is a limit of one (1) Entry per person/household/per e-mail address for the contest period. Multiple entries received from any person or e-mail address thereafter may void all such additional entries. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Someone will contact you and schedule installation within 1 month of winning.
Entrants must be a breast cancer patient, survivor, or thriver, and registered as such with the American Cancer Society at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany in 2025.
The Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, delayed, undelivered, or misdirected entries. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned except as provided herein.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: If for any reason the operation or administration of this Giveaway is impaired or incapable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical failures, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual deemed to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE GIVEAWAY PROCESS OR UNDERMINE ITS LEGITIMATE OPERATION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt, installation or use of the Prize. Winners acknowledge that installation may require modifications to existing systems and agree that Sponsor and its affiliates shall have no liability for costs, damages, or issues arising out of installation, or the operation or use of the prize.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor. The Prize drawing will be conducted shortly after the Giveaway Period ends. The potential Winner will be notified via phone call and/or email based on the contact information provided at entry.
GRAND PRIZE: There will be one (1) Grand Prize available per location (Buffalo, Albany, Rochester). The Grand Prize Winner, upon confirmation of eligibility, will receive a Trane Single Stage 80% 80BTU B-width furnace (Model# S8X1B080M4PSCB) with basic installation. All other expenses associated with Prize acceptance or usage not specifically mentioned herein are the responsibility of the Winner.
ADDITIONAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: By accepting the Grand Prize, the Winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt of the Prize. The Winner will be responsible for all costs and expenses, not limited to local, state, and federal taxes associated with the receipt, use, and maintenance of the Prize. If a Prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, or if a potential Winner cannot be reached, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be selected.
DISPUTES: All issues and questions concerning these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway shall be governed by and construed in accordance with New York State laws.
SEVERABILITY: If any provision of these Official Rules is deemed invalid, all other provisions will remain in effect.
MISCELLANEOUS: These Official Rules represent the full understanding of the Giveaway terms and supersede all prior agreements.
